    <title type="html"><![CDATA[Non Denominational Chapel and Cemetery – Tasmanian Heritage]]></title>
    <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p><img src="https://omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/files/fullsize/b4541dd918cb7eebf7a008b784c59c01.jpg" alt="The Chapel" /><br/><p><strong><em>This Non Denominational Chapel is of historic heritage significance because of its ability to demonstrate the principal characteristics of a sandstone Old Colonial Georgian ecclesiastical building.</em></strong></p><p>A rubble sandstone stone building with a rectangular ground-plan, corrugated iron gabled roof, boxed eaves, and ashlar sandstone quoinwork and reveals. The door is in a gable wall, and there are three windows to the side elevation.     <title type="html"><![CDATA[Cottage, 529 Bay Rd, Marion Bay – Tasmanian Heritage]]></title>
    <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p><img src="https://omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/files/fullsize/99f6558f356cb76f7a643d070350af40.jpg" alt="The cottage in 2025" /><br/><p><strong><em>This cottage is of historic heritage significance because of its ability to demonstrate the principal characteristics of a single storey, weatherboard Victorian Georgian domestic building.</em></strong></p><p>A symmetrical, single storey, weatherboard cottage with a corrugated iron gabled roof and a verandah under the broken-back main roof. The verandah has been enclosed and glazed at a later date, and the central door is a modern replacement.</p><p>This building is of historic heritage significance because its townscape associations are regarded as important to the community's sense of place.</p></p><p><em><strong><a href="https://omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/items/show/149">For more (including 3 images), view the original article</a>.</strong></em></p><p></p>]]></summary>

    <title type="html"><![CDATA[Marchwiel – Tasmanian Heritage]]></title>
    <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p><img src="https://omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/files/fullsize/367164bf57099d02e102a6ec89d93f56.jpg" alt="" /><br/><p><strong><em>Marchwiel is of historic heritage significance because of its ability to demonstrate the principal characteristics of a Victorian Farm complex comprising a range of building types typical of the period .</em></strong></p><p>The site consists of a main house, two early slab huts, an early blacksmiths shop and a shearing shed. The main house comprises two sections, the original c.1850 section and a c.1905 addition. The early part of the house is of sandstone construction with a hipped roof and dormer windows. The later section is weatherboard.</p><p>
